CARRINGTONS

Historic Loch Village was established in 1876 and is recognised as the garden village of South Gippsland with much to offer visitors.

Original buildings and beautiful cottage gardens are nestled by the surrounding green hills situated on the edge of the Strezlecki Ranges.

Local attractions include antique and craft shops, galleries, quilters barn, general store, cafe's, restaurant and hotel. South Gippsland Tourist Railway operates trains to Loch on weekends and public holidays. Loch Village Market is conducted on the second Sunday of each month and there are many special events during the year which attract visitors and tourists to this beautiful setting.

Other attractions include South Gippsland Tourist Railway, Sunnyside Park, Centenial Park, the Swinging Bridge, BBQ's and playgrounds, Allsop Creek and sporting facilities.

Visitors can take a leisurely stroll through the village to browse through the  quaint little shops, take a heritage walk, visit the local wineries or animal farms or take a short drive to one of the scenic lookouts to view the bays or surrounding ranges.
